It was very relaxing and fun to stay in such an historical inn. It was convenient to walk to downtown Newport. It was also easy to catch the trolley that takes you to the Mansions. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The roof garden was so clean and it was nice to relax outside. Definitely a great place to stay.
My stay here was simply fantastic. The staff was beyond wonderfulhe hotel is beautiful and the location is absoutely perfect. Thank you for helping us have the perfect weekend getaway!
Liked everything about this quaint hotel, except for the three flights of stairs up to the top floor of the main house where we stayed. If youre young it won't be a problem... Otherwise it was great, including the continental breakfast. Staff were very hospitable. Hotel is in a great location and perfect for visiting the Mansions of Newport, shops, restaurants ect., We had a great time and will stay there again (on a lower floor)
Was a great location, parked the car when we arrived on Saturday, spent 2 nights and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Newport.
The rooftop patio was a beautiful spot to watch the sun set.
The room was a bit dark and small, and ours happened to be in a sub-floor basement. While it was quaint, we felt a bit crammed.
Great location and helpful staff. Lovely old building. Breakfast was nice too.
Our room (one in the carriage house) felt a little damp and smelled slightly musty. A fan in the bathroom would have probably helped with this problem.
Excellent location in downtown Newport close to waterfront, mansions, restaurants and shopping.
Older, somewhat tired B&B. Bathrooms a very small and showers have low pressure. Food is okay, but not home made like most B&Bs.
It is a very cosy inn with a nice atmosphere in a nice area close to the center of the town and to the beach. The room was clean and had a very personal touch.
We had a very large room which was great, but the rooms smelled a little musty.
I thought the breakfast would have been a hot one, but the continental breakfast was OK
To stay in the Yankee Peddler Inn is a great Vermont countryside experience. The picturesque village and the cozy Inn makes you feeling like a traveler in the 19th century. Dining was excellent.
The hotel was convenient to the Breakers and other mansions in New Port. Off street parking was very nice. Nice breakfast.
The airconditioner in the room needs to be replaced. The one that was there could only cool the room down to a certain point.
Convenient, good value, clean, nice staff
Room air conditioner might be loud in warm weather
The location was very convenient. Nice sun porch-afternoon tea-wine and cheese
Room very small and on 3rd floor of very narrow steep stairs. Bathroom so small could hardly turn around( we are thin people!)Breakfast was minimal and continental only.
From the time I walked into YP to the time I left the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend YP to anyone is looking for a charming B&B close to everything you want in downtown Newport.
yankee peddler inn is a cute cozy inn nestled in a perfect location.the staff was helpul in suggesting restaurants and attractions in the area
